Yukari
Yukari was born in Japan and began playing the piano at the age of three and the violin at seven. Her first violin teacher was Takako Nishizaki, the first graduate of the Suzuki Method in 1953.
In high school, Yukari joined the Musashino City Orchestra, which inspired her to pursue a career as a violinist. After graduating from high school, she studied at the Hamburg Music Institute in Germany before continuing her education at the San Francisco Conservatory of Music. Among her mentors, Isadore Tinkleman was one of her most influential violin teachers. She graduated with a Bachelor of Music in Violin.
Throughout her career, Yukari has performed with the Marin and Sacramento Symphonies. For the past 30 years, she has been dedicated to teaching violin across the Bay Area.
