Our Sunnyvale campus
A Music School Families Stay With
CCM opened in Santa Clara in 2011 and moved to Sunnyvale in 2019. Today our Sunnyvale music school offers private lessons in piano, guitar, violin and voice, plus guitar group classes.
Every lesson is one-on-one with a university-trained teacher, and students start as young as four. Plenty of our families have been with us for years, some for more than a decade.
Your first lesson is a free trial lesson. We provide a guitar, violin or piano for it, so you don’t need an instrument to get started.

Sunnyvale is home to CCM’s guitar group classes. Alongside a weekly private lesson, students can join a group class and play with other guitarists, which builds reading, rhythm and confidence faster than practicing alone.
Lessons are for ages 4 to adult, from first-time beginners to advanced players, and Suzuki guitar is available too. CCM guitar students have won first prizes at the Guitar Foundation of America’s International Youth Competition and took the top four places at the James Stroud Guitar Competition.
Our oldest started lessons at just 5 years old and is now 20, which really says a lot about the lasting impact Tim has had on our family.

At CCM, voice lessons and singing lessons are the same thing. In Sunnyvale, singers work one-on-one on breath support, healthy technique and ear training, using songs they actually want to sing.
Children, teens and adults study pop, musical theater, jazz and classical styles, and teachers help singers get ready for auditions and recitals.
My classes were extremely helpful with Dario, he’s professional, knowledgeable, excellent input and he definitely puts a effort into his students. Every single minute I spent here was well worth it.

Reviews
What Families Are Saying
Teachers have been very positive and encouraging. We have really enjoyed the many concerts and recitals the CCM team organizes, which have increased my son’s enjoyment and love for music.
It’s a lot of fun finally becoming a musician, I am proof that you can start any time! I’ve been here for about 2 years and look forward to many more.
I’m an adult (over 40’s) with the crazy idea to learn violin without music knowledge and started taking lessons at the Sunnyvale location… The teachers I’ve had are very professional and have showed a lot of patience and empathy.
