Alexandra
Alexandra is an accomplished voice teacher and performer with a Master’s Degree in Voice Performance from the prestigious Jacobs School of Music at Indiana University and a Bachelor’s Degree in Music Education from East China Normal University.
With extensive experience in piano and vocal training, Alexandra has honed her craft under the guidance of world-renowned instructors, performing in prestigious venues such as Chicago Summer Opera, and has worked with Shanghai Symphony Orchestra. Alexandra’s dedication to vocal excellence is further demonstrated by her recognition as a 2nd Prize winner in the Hong Kong International Vocal Open Competition and the recipient of the Artistic Excellence Fellowship at Jacobs School of Music. Her academic and performance background is complemented by a minor in French, adding a unique dimension to her understanding and teaching of vocal literature.
As a voice and piano teacher, Alexandra stands out for her comprehensive approach to music education, combining a deep understanding of vocal technique with a rich knowledge of music theory, piano, and multilingual repertoire. She has a proven track record of success, having taught music to students of various ages, and worked as a translator for musical literature, which adds a distinctive cross-disciplinary perspective to her teaching.
