Alan
Teacher Alan has a decade of experience working with students of all ages and levels. Having taught in a wide range of settings, from preschools to middle school classrooms to student’s homes and online, Alan has collected a wide variety of teaching methods to suit almost everyone.
From three-year-old students to award winning classical guitar competitors, teacher Alan’s guitar, harmonica and ukulele studio is one of the most varied music studios in the Bay area. Classical, folk, rock,metal, pop and songwriting are some of the music styles and subjects teacher Alan enjoys teaching in.
Fluent in both English and Spanish, Alan has built a teaching studio in the Bay Area and across Latin America. Alan completed his music bachelor’s degree at the San Francisco Conservatory of Music in 2015 with renowned guitarist, composer and arranger, Sergio Assad.
Not only experienced as a teacher, Alan has lots of experience as a solo performer and has a rapidly growing touring career with his ensemble, the Stanton Street Duo.
