Hana is a pianist, composer, and educator of music with an eclectic mix of backgrounds.
She started her journey in music at age 4 with classical piano training, and over the years she has broadened her musical palette to include jazz, tango, composition, improvisation, singing, and electronic music. She received her B.A. in Music from Princeton University and M.A. in Music, Technology, and Science from Stanford University, and is an active freelance musician in the Bay Area.

Her approach to teaching focuses on the whole person, taking into account each student's interests, needs, and learning style, and aimed at guiding their creativity to flourish. With her comprehensive background in many aspects of music, she can teach various genres and styles, and she welcomes the student's active participation in designing their course of study, and finding their own unique voice in music.
