Piano & Voice Faculty

Jean is a lyric coloratura soprano and Doctor of Musical Arts (DMA) candidate in Vocal Performance at Claremont Graduate University. She holds a Master’s degree from New York University and a Bachelor’s degree in Music Education from Wuhan Conservatory of Music.

Jean began studying piano at an early age and teaches both private voice and piano lessons, as well as group classes. She uses the Faber Piano Adventures method to build strong technical and musical foundations in an engaging and age-appropriate way.

As an educator, Jean creates a supportive learning environment based on each student’s needs. She works with students of all ages, helping them build confidence, musicality, and solid technique. She teaches in both English and Mandarin and also coaches vocal repertoire in French, German, and Italian.
