Piano and Voice Faculty

Svetlana is a classically trained voice and piano instructor with more than seven years of teaching and performance experience. She works with children and adults, tailoring lessons to each student’s abilities, interests, and musical goals. Her patient and supportive approach helps students build healthy technique, musical confidence, and a lasting love of music.

Svetlana began her professional training at the College of Arts in Naberezhnye Chelny, where she studied vocal performance and music theory. She later earned her bachelor’s degree with honors from the Krasnodar State Institute of Culture in 2023.

As a lyric soprano, Svetlana has performed leading roles including Mimi in La Bohème, Tatiana in Eugene Onegin, Iolanta and Laura in Iolanta, and Marguerite in Faust. Her concert experience includes Mozart’s Requiem and Coronation Mass, Pergolesi’s Stabat Mater, and Fauré’s Requiem. In the United States, she has performed with Hawaii Opera Theatre, Light Opera Theatre of Sacramento, and other regional opera companies.

In voice lessons, Svetlana emphasizes healthy vocal technique, breath management, diction, resonance, interpretation, and stage presence. Her piano lessons help beginning and intermediate students develop technique, sight-reading, rhythm, music theory, and expressive playing.
