Tae
As an all-around musician and a teacher, Tae received her BA in music from UC Berkeley with concentrations in composition and theory under the tutelage of professors John Thow, Jorge Liderman and Cindy Cox. Among many piano teachers whom she has studied with, Anna Poklewski played a pivotal role in Tae’s piano performance by showing her how to color the sound with many different techniques. She also studied conducting with David Milnes at Berkeley and is directing a choir at Bethel Baptist Church.
With a teaching experience of more than 20 years, she endeavors to meet her students’ individual needs in musicality, sight reading skills, tone production techniques and theory. She also helps her students with ABRSM.
